Within the implementation strategy of the key national project — Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant — the chimney package, one of the most technically and organizationally critical structures, has achieved an outstanding milestone by completing concrete casting 9 days ahead of the approved schedule. This accomplishment sends a highly positive signal regarding the project’s overall progress control and execution capability.

According to information published by the Investor, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), on its official website, the concrete casting of the chimney shaft was completed at 4:00 a.m. on February 4, 2026, 9 days earlier than originally planned. This achievement resulted from continuous construction operations, the application of appropriate technical solutions, and strict control over safety and quality standards throughout the execution process.

The chimney works are part of Package T26 – Supply and Construction of the Chimney for Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant, implemented by CRI Enerbility S.r.l (Italy). As a subcontractor directly responsible for key components under Package T26, ETEC has:

• Closely coordinated technical execution with international experts
