ETEC is proud to be the contractor responsible for the fabrication, transportation, and installation of the steel Inner Flue system within the reinforced concrete chimney structure of the Long Phu Thermal Power Plant Project, one of the key energy projects in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam.

The project features a large scale with stringent technical and quality requirements:

• 02 steel Inner Flue systems
• Diameter: 7 meters each
• Height: 200 meters each
• Total fabrication and installation weight: approximately 600 tons of steel

Advanced Installation Technology

To ensure precision, safety, and project schedule, ETEC employed a modern lifting system comprising:

• 12 hydraulic jacks with a lifting capacity of 80 tons each
• 72 specialized D18 steel cables
• Centralized computer control system
• Real-time load monitoring system

This advanced technology enabled the safe, accurate, and efficient installation of large-diameter steel flues within the 200-meter-high concrete chimney structure.
